An adjustable base can make all the difference when it comes to improving your sleep. A quality-made one can help make your mattress more comfortable by allowing you to raise or lower certain parts of the bed. In addition, many, like the DreamCloud adjustable bed frame, have other bells and whistles.
I tested this DreamCloud frame to help sleepers figure out if this is the right option for them. The base has head and food adjustability, adjustable legs, multiple settings, a massage option, and four built-in USB ports, among other features and specifications. As such, it’s an attractive option for many sleepers, including those who want a feature-rich base that’s easy to install.
In this review, I’ll discuss the DreamCloud adjustable bed frame, its features, specifications, pros, and cons. I’ll also tell you about its performance and feel, hopefully helping you determine if this is the right choice.

My Video Review of The DreamCloud Adjustable Bed Frame
Who Is the DreamCloud Adjustable Bed Frame Best for?
I think DreamCloud’s adjustable bed frame could definitely work for a good number of people. Ultimately, though, it’s about finding the right product for you since not everyone has the same needs.
Pros: Who Might Like the DreamCloud Adjustable Bed Frame:
- People who snore – This base has an anti-snore setting that elevates the head of the bed only a little bit, which should help reduce snoring as opposed to sleeping on a completely flat mattress.
- Sleepers with back pain – Sleepers with back pain may find comfort in raising either the foot or the head of the bed. I think this could help with pressure relief, especially in the lower back area.
- Those interested in smart technology – I enjoyed playing with all the features, so I think people who like new technologies should find the DreamCloud adjustable frame and all its settings equally fun. The bed comes with an easy-to-use remote and several smart features.
Cons: Who Might Not Like the DreamCloud Adjustable Bed Frame:
- Those who want a longer trial – The company gives only 50 days to test the base, which I don’t think is enough for many people.
- Partners with different sleeping habits – Partners with different sleeping habits may find it difficult to agree on a setting that feels comfortable for both.
- Budget shoppers – Adjustable bases are significantly pricier than regular mattress frames, so this may not be the best option if you’re looking for an affordable bed frame.
Sleep Advisor’s Testing Methodology
I tested the DreamCloud adjustable bed frame thoroughly to help sleepers decide if they want to try it. I went from unpacking it to adjusting and trying all its features and settings to help you understand how it works and whether it would fit your needs. The frame works with the DreamCloud mattresses but is also compatible with other mattress brands as it comes in standard bed sizes.

What is the DreamCloud Adjustable Bed Frame Made of?
Materials
The DreamCloud adjustable bed frame is made from metal, so it feels sturdy, durable, and heavy. The frame is metal, but there is also fabric and foam acting as the base. Although the remote that’s included is made from plastic, I’d say it feels well-made and durable.
Height
This adjustable base is 15 inches tall, but keep in mind it comes with 8 and 3-inch legs. In addition, 2-inch extenders are included for even more adjustability.
Sleeping on the DreamCloud Adjustable Bed Frame
Sleeping on the DreamCloud adjustable bed frame was fun and exciting but, most importantly, comfortable. Sleeping on an adjustable bed frame as opposed to a regular mattress frame is a game-changer for those who sleep on their back. In addition, you should like it if you often watch TV in your room as there’s an option to elevate the head of the bed, which is ideal for watching TV.
Other options include zero gravity, anti-snore, and multiple massage settings. Going through the settings is easy since the remote is already set up. Although the technology is new, it feels simple enough, so don’t worry if you’re not too familiar with these things. Plus, the frame comes with instructions.
I noticed that changing the settings and positions is slow, which may feel frustrating for some.

Sleep Advisor’s Performance Ratings for the DreamCloud Adjustable Bed Frame
Support
4/5
The DreamCloud adjustable base in Queen size can support up to 750 pounds, which is somewhat of an average weight most similar bases can support. The frame feels sturdy, so I think it would handle the weight nicely and without wobbling.
Durability
3/5
The frame carrying the fabric and foam along with your mattress is made from sturdy metal, so you can expect it to last for years. However, there’s nothing else that indicates long-term durability as the composition is quite standard with the metal frame and upholstered parts.
Assembly
4/5
Assembling this bed was easy and didn’t take too much time. It also didn’t require any tools.
However, the frame is heavy and I wouldn’t suggest you try to assemble it by yourself. It’s best to have a friend or a family member to help you tackle the setting up process easier and faster. Professional assembly is also available for additional 149 dollars.
Noise
2/5
I’d say this base is rather quiet for what it is, although some noise is noticeable when it moves. The base makes noise as you move between settings, and the mattress you use may also make noise.
If you choose a hybrid mattress, you’ll hear and feel the coils popping and moving as you move the base, especially in the sitting position. This is unlikely to damage the mattress if it’s adjustable base compatible, but it felt odd.
Ease of Use
5/5
I found that the DreamCloud adjustable bed frame is easy to use as it comes with a pre-set remote controller. Batteries are included, so you can use your base right when it arrives. The remote is simple, although it looks rather complex with all the backlighting on it.
What stood out for me was the fact it has a flashlight, which is a nice touch I didn’t know I would need. The base has two USB ports on each side, so you can charge two devices simultaneously. Additionally, it has adjustable height with 2-inch extenders.
There are instructions, so you can also check those out for additional help should you need it.
Shipping
4/5
DreamCloud ships the base for free to all contiguous U.S. states. Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska is available for additional 150 dollars.
Sleep Trial & Warranty
3/5
I don’t often see adjustable bases with any sleep trial, which is why I give DreamCloud a 4 out of 5. However, the sleep trial is only 50 nights, and I feel many people would appreciate a longer trial to further test the base. This product also comes with a three-year warranty deal.

My Final Thoughts on the DreamCloud Adjustable Bed Frame
This DreamCloud adjustable bed frame is a good option for those who want to make the most out of their mattress. The bed has multiple settings, so it can easily turn your basic mattress into a comfortable and cozy sleeping spot.
Although it may not be the quietest adjustable bed out there, it’s easy to set up and use. Plus, it comes with four built-in USB ports, which I think is a nice addition. You can use this to charge your phone and tablet simultaneously, which is always handy. The frame is heavy, so I suggest you have someone help you set it up.
Overall, using it was fun, and I can see how this base could make your sleeping experience a more enjoyable one. My overall score for this product is 3.7 out of 5.
