Most light sleepers should find the Eco Terra’s Medium feel to be a good fit for them. However, side sleepers, whose weight is concentrated in a smaller area, may also consider purchasing the Eco Terra topper in the soft version for added plushness.
While this mattress should accommodate most solo sleepers, couples with higher weight considerations would probably be a better match with a bed that has a higher weight limit or a brand that caters to heavier individuals.
Construction: What’s inside Eco Terra?
Eco Terra is a latex and coil hybrid, bed-in-a-box product. The cover boasts certified organic cotton and a wool fire barrier that should promote temperature regulation. This mattress is available in two levels of firmness: Medium and Medium-Firm.
This mattress stands 11 inches in height.
- The first layer holds 3 inches of Talalay Latex. This material should be responsive and offer soothing pressure relief.

We also feel this bed is a good purchase for individuals with mobility issues and sexually active couples because the combination of coils and latex should provide good buoyancy for easy movement.
However, due to this bed’s lower weight limit, we do not recommend the Eco Terra for couples over 200 pounds each and suggest a similar type of bed with a higher weight limit, such as the EcoCloud Hybrid which allows up to 900 pounds.
